In this episode, I talk about how the pandemic has been affected by family and the similarities between COVID-1 9 and climate change. The foundation of this is how the most vulnerable people are being hit the hardest. I reflect over the past few weeks and talk about how we can have hope and explore what type of action that communities can take to address climate change now.
In this episode, I talk about the similarities of the COVID-19 pandemic and Climate Change. The Lancet has described these as converging crises, and stress that both COVID-19 and the climate crisis have exposed the fact that the poorest and most marginalised people in society are always the most vulnerable to shocks.
Here, I share the experience of the impacts of covid-19 on my family across the UK and in Zambia.
Similar to COVID-19, I believe every sector of society and every person has a role in addressing climate change and I discuss some ways to use your area of work and influence in addressing climate change.
I would love to know what you think and hear your ideas!
