 Nana Yaw Osei-Darkwa is a multiple awards winning youth and climate activist, He is the most recent winner of tjr Humanitarian Awards Global Event - SDG13 Climate Activist of the Year. He is the Founder and Convener of The Green Republic Project,  a youth-driven grassroots organization  committed to climate action through the planting of trees as a natural remedy. He has led the planting of over 20,000 trees since the commencement of The Green Republic Project in July 2018.

He has directly  engaged over 100,000 students and pupils around Ghana with climate action advocacy.
